COLOUR
Clear dark ruby red of good depth and intensity with a dark cherry purple rim on the swirl
NOSE
Aromas of dark cherry, sweet bramble fruit and a lifted toasty vanilla bean
PALATE
Clean full bodied flavours of dark cherry, mulberry preserve and sweet cocoa within a soft brittle tannin frame. Finishing dusty sweet vanilla toast. a
WINEMAKING
Estate grown Tempranillo grapes. Hand harvested and fermented in open vats, plunged three times daily throughout fermentation. A cool later harvest enabled a fuller complex wine expression in 2022 that has been further enhanced with a year’s maturation in barrel. A reserve equivalent style.
FOOD PAIRING
Cured ham - jamon, pickled vegetables, salami, antipasto dishes, tapas and pizza.
VINTAGE NOTES
Cool conditions in early spring enabled a subsequent long growing season. Flowering was warm and dry, enabling a full crop load across all varieties. A warm dry summer subsided into prolonged clean and cool autumn conditions prior to harvest.

Mount Avoca use both couriers and Australia Post to ensure a reliable and efficient delivery service. If you are not at home to accept your delivery, they will leave your wine in a safe place, though Aus Post may leave a card for collection from your nearest post office. Please specify as much detail as possible in the 'delivery instructions' area and we will do our best to ensure a seamless delivery.

We're delighted to announce that we now offer free freight in VIC, NSW, ACT, SA & QLD.
If you're based in WA, NT and TAS, we offer $10 flat rate on all shipping too
Delivery Times
Please allow 3–5 working days for delivery to capital cities and 1–2 weeks for regional areas and interstate, though we've noticed that delivery times have taken longer since Covid 19 came and went. Customer service is important to us; if we foresee a problem with your delivery we will contact you to discuss it. The above times are guidelines only and may be faster or slower depending on your location.

Requirements
- Please include clear delivery instructions and a telephone number on all orders.
- Wine damaged in transit will be returned to Mount Avoca and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.
- Undeliverable wine will be returned to Mount Avoca and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements. Undeliverable wine will incur an administration fee of $30 for re-shipping.
- As we have no control over shipping Mount Avoca takes no responsibility for the delivery times or loss of orders.
