Cellar Door

A world away from the hustle and bustle of the city and suburbs, but only two hours from Melbourne, our sandstone cellar door overlooks the vines and Pyrenees ranges. A scenic drive past our organic vineyard brings you to our relaxed and friendly cellar door, where you'll discover how we became accidentally organic, our focus on clean viticulture and our simple goal to make amazing wines. With over 50 years of experience with the unique Pyrenees terroir we are quietly confident you'll be impressed.

The Setting

We offer tables and chairs in the shade of the old gum trees, situated on lawns, edged by vines and agapanthus. Enjoy a glass of wine in our garden and bring a picnic basket or utilise our free BBQ facilities, rotunda and pétanque piste while the children can enjoy their own play area.

We also offer a range of food platters and hampers that you can pre-order to enjoy during your visit (3 day lead time reqired). View the menu.

Bush Walks and Bike Rides

Our cellar door has mountain bikes on offer, allowing you to travel through the Pyrenees in the most picturesque way possible. Bikes can be hired between 10am and 4pm, starting at $20 for 0-3 hours and $35 for 3+ hours. Bikes must be returned by 4pm. There is complimentary 0-3 hour hire for guests staying at our Eco-Luxe accommodation.

Buses and Tour Groups

To help us provide the best possible experience for all of our guests, we ask that groups over 8 people – and all buses – make an appointment and arrange to visit between 11am and 12.30 pm. A tasting charge of $10 per person is payable prior to entering the cellar door, and will be credited to any purchases.

Please message us to advise of your arrival time, number of guests and your organisation or group and we will confirm by chat or email within 72 hours. We really appreciate you helping us to provide a wonderful experience for all of our visitors.

The Region

The Pyrenees wine region is renowned amongst winemakers and trade as one one of Australia's top produers of super premium high quality fruit. Less known by the public the wines are aromatic, intensely flavoured and carry the hallmarks of individuality and character.

The wineries are generally understated, small, humble and focussed on farming and production rather than glitz and marketing, possibly a reason for the region flying under the radar for over 50 years.  One of Victoria's best kept secrets, the region's natural beauty is surpassed only by its incredible wines.

Open 7 days a week, 11am to 4pm inc Easter Anzac Day and most public holidays.
Closed Christmas, Boxing Day, Jan 1 & 2.
