Cellar Door

A world away from the city and suburbs, but only two hours from Melbourne our sandstone cellar door, overlooks the vines and Pyrenees ranges. Drive past our organic vineyard to find our relaxed and friendly cellar door where you will meet the winemakers, discover a little about why our focus on pure and clean viticulture makes our wines so delicious and learn how the unique Pyrenees terroir translates into our award winning wines.

The Setting

We offer tables and chairs in the shade of the old gum trees, situated on lawns, edged by the vines.  Bring a picnic basket or utilise our free BBQ facilities, rotunda and pétanque piste while the children can enjoy their own play area.

Bush walks and Bike rides

Mountain bikes are on offer to peddle the picturesque Pyrenees in the best way possible. Bikes can be hired between 10am and 4pm, starting at $20 for 0-3 hours and $35 for 3+ hours. Bikes must be returned by 4pm.

Complimentary 0-3 hour hire for guests staying at our Eco-Luxe accommodation.

Children

We have plenty to occupy your children while you enjoy our wines. We have a cellar door playground, bike hire and walking tracks and children are welcome in our Eco-Luxe accommodation - so bring the clan!

The Region

The Pyrenees Wine Region is one of Australia's finest wine regions. Often underrated, the wines are intensely flavoured and carry the hallmarks of individuality and character.

The wineries are understated, small and publicity shy, possibly a reason for the region flying under the radar for almost 50 years.  Arguably one of Victoria's best kept secrets, the natural beauty of the region is only surpassed by it's incredible wines

Mount Avoca is perfectly located at the crossroads of Central Victoria. Ballarat, Daylesford, Castlemaine, Ararat and St Arnaud, all lie less than an hour’s drive away.

Open 7 days a week, 11am to 4pm.

Closed Christmas, Boxing and New Years days
