COLOUR
Medium red with ruby highlights.
NOSEFloral aromas and hints of strawberry, dusty cherry and freshly roasted coffee beans.
PALATEDried strawberry, raspberry coulis and coffee bean are interwoven with well-balanced acidity and firm tannins. The finish is clean and dry with hints of sweet bramble fruit integrated with dark roasted nuts and deftly handled toasty oak.
WINEMAKINGFermented in traditional small open top fermenters and hand plunged twice daily for to 10 days using a variety of yeasts. MLF was encouraged on skins and completed in tank prior to 9 months aging in old and new French hogsheads.
FOOD PAIRINGRoast duck with pot roasted vegetables seasoned with thyme, coq au vin or veal casserole with couscous and roast eggplant.
VINTAGE NOTESA mild start to the season progressed to a cooler than normal growing season with well-placed summer rains.

Delivery & Shipping Details
Mount Avoca use both couriers and Australia Post to ensure a reliable and efficient delivery service. If you are not at home to accept your delivery, they will leave your wine in a safe place, though Aus Post may leave a card for collection from your nearest post office. Please specify as much detail as possible in the 'delivery instructions' area and we will do our best to ensure a seamless delivery.

If you're based in WA, NT and TAS, we offer $10 flat rate on all shipping too
Delivery Times
Please allow 3–5 working days for delivery to capital cities and 1–2 weeks for regional areas and interstate, though we've noticed that delivery times have taken longer since Covid 19 came and went. Customer service is important to us; if we foresee a problem with your delivery we will contact you to discuss it. The above times are guidelines only and may be faster or slower depending on your location.

Requirements
- Please include clear delivery instructions and a telephone number on all orders.
- Wine damaged in transit will be returned to Mount Avoca and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.
- Undeliverable wine will be returned to Mount Avoca and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements. Undeliverable wine will incur an administration fee of $30 for re-shipping.
- As we have no control over shipping Mount Avoca takes no responsibility for the delivery times or loss of orders.
