COLOUR
Dark cherry red of good intensity with a defined purple rim.
Aromas of blackberry spicy dark cherry and toasted almond.
PALATEClean full-bodied flavours of blackberry, fresh fig and charred cocoa weave amongst the plush velvet tannins leading to a satisfyingly smooth long finish of spicy cherry and vanilla bean.
FOOD PAIRINGGrilled Toulouse sausage with beetroot and leafy salad or pork fillets wrapped in butter sautéed spinach, baked with pears and cherry tomatoes & served with creamy mash. Ideal with most beef and lamb dishes and almost anything off the barbie!
VINIFICATION & MATURAIONThe fruit was predominantly harvested from mature vines in section A & B on the estate vineyard. Traditional open vat vinification techniques applied with minimal intervention to preserve its regional identity.

Delivery & Shipping Details
Mount Avoca use both couriers and Australia Post to ensure a reliable and efficient delivery service. If you are not at home to accept your delivery, they will leave your wine in a safe place, though Aus Post may leave a card for collection from your nearest post office. Please specify as much detail as possible in the 'delivery instructions' area and we will do our best to ensure a seamless delivery.

We're delighted to announce that we now offer free freight in VIC, NSW, ACT, SA & QLD.
If you're based in WA, NT and TAS, we offer $10 flat rate on all shipping too
Delivery Times
Please allow 3–5 working days for delivery to capital cities and 1–2 weeks for regional areas and interstate, though we've noticed that delivery times have taken longer since Covid 19 came and went. Customer service is important to us; if we foresee a problem with your delivery we will contact you to discuss it. The above times are guidelines only and may be faster or slower depending on your location.

Requirements
- Please include clear delivery instructions and a telephone number on all orders.
- Wine damaged in transit will be returned to Mount Avoca and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.
- Undeliverable wine will be returned to Mount Avoca and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements. Undeliverable wine will incur an administration fee of $30 for re-shipping.
- As we have no control over shipping Mount Avoca takes no responsibility for the delivery times or loss of orders.
