PALATEClean and bright flavours of nashi pear, lemon oil, and subtle dried herb, finishing with a moderate tangy length of soft lime zest.
WINEMAKINGAfter a gentle crushing and destemming, grapes were given a cold maceration
treatment to maximize aromatic extraction. Shortly after, pressing was
conducted, the juice clarified, and different fractions were kept separated for
later blending. Juice was inoculated at 16 degrees with selected yeast cultures
to maximise aromatics.

VINTAGE NOTESA relatively cool summer made for one of the best vintages for many years

NOSERich aromas of honeydew melon, dried apricots and toasted cashews.
PALATEFresh and lively fruit flavours of pears and white peach with very subtle hints of oak lead to a silky smooth, lingering finish, that is light and elegant. An easy drinking Chardonnay that can be enjoyed anytime.
WINEMAKINGThe grapes were machine harvested, crushed, destemmed and pressed into.
Fermentation took place over 12 days with selected yeast to enhance both
full flavour development and some complexity. The wine was kept on lees
contact for a further 2 months before being racked and stabilized (protein and
tartrate), carefully blended and prepared for bottling.

NOSEClean pronounced developing aromas of blueberry and raspberry fruit with a peppery intertwine of sweet toast and forest floor.
PALATEFull-bodied flavours of fresh blackberry and ripe strawberry over a subtle peppery oak background, finishing perfect length and balance.
WINEMAKINGSourced from 30 plus year old Pyrenees Shiraz Vineyards. Fermented on skins in small open fermenters and stainless steel tanks for 8 to 10 days. MLF was
encouraged on skins and completed in tank prior to aging in French and American oak barrels.
