Estate 2020 Shiraz

COLOUR 
Dark cherry red of good intensity with a defined purple rim. 

NOSE

Aromas of blackberry spicy dark cherry and toasted almond.

PALATE

Clean full-bodied flavours of blackberry, fresh fig and charred cocoa weave amongst the plush velvet tannins leading to a satisfyingly smooth long finish of spicy cherry and vanilla bean.

FOOD PAIRING

Grilled Toulouse sausage with beetroot and leafy salad or pork fillets wrapped in butter sautéed spinach, baked with pears and cherry tomatoes & served with creamy mash.  Ideal with most beef and lamb dishes and almost anything off the barbie!

VINIFICATION & MATURAION

The fruit was predominantly harvested from mature vines in section A & B on the estate vineyard. Traditional open vat vinification techniques applied with minimal intervention to preserve its regional identity.
